Selt Pergola SB400R – a roof module with a frame, combines the durability and strength of an aluminium construction with functionality and wide possibilities of a roof cover. SB400R enables the formation of single-module structures as well as linearly connected modular systems along the lengthwise or transverse beams. This model has a wide range of applications both in commercial facilities and with individual clients.

Construction is made of extruded aluminium and stainless steel elements. Movable blades have changeable angle of inclination and their rotation is controlled remotely. Blades limit the access of sunlight and in closed position the blades create a roof that protects the terrace from rain. The system includes two lengthwise gutters, or four gutters along the perimeter with angle overflows, while the drainage points are determined and prepared by the customer.

Pergola SB400R system enables the production of structures up to 4 meters wide and with a projection of up to 7 meters.

The construction of this model is available in three standard colours: white, graphite and anthracite. It is possible to order a pergola in a different colour from RAL palette (option for a surcharge).

The roof module with a perimeter frame complements individual design concepts or existing buildings. The method of assembly depends on the load-bearing elements of the object that will be used to attach the roof frame. The projection of a module is a multiple of the blade interval (20 cm).

Quick
assembly
Through the removal of the posts, installation of the perimeter beams becomes really quick. The gutters are fixed to the frame at the factory. End caps on the beams ends provide access to the inside at any corner and give the ability to hide the elements of electric control.

Durable construction, reinforced joints
Thanks to the internal reinforcements of the pergola frame joints, the entire pergola structure gains stability and resistance to strong wind. The internal reinforcements of the supporting structure as well as the external elements of pergola are made of extruded aluminium, which guarantees durability and reliability of this type of solution.

Sunbreaker system
System SB400R allows you to adjust the level of shading depending on your individual needs and external conditions. The remotely controlled movement of the blades guarantees easy operation. The blades in closed position also protect against rain. When using the ELERO Picolo XL motor the angle of rotation is 90° and in the case of the 24 DC motor, the angle of rotation is 120°.

asked questions

What is the angle of rotation of the blades in the SB400 system?
The angle of rotation of the blades is 120° when using a 24 DC motor and 90° when using the ELERO Picolo XL motor.
Do the blades hide in the system?
No, the blades can rotate but there is no possibility to move them in any direction.
Is it possible to have different colours (e.g. construction in graphite and roof in white)?
Yes, it is possible (no additional payment for colours from Selt palette). It is not possible to paint the blades in two different colours on each side.
Can LED lighting be mounted only on one side?
No, the customer receives LED lighting on all four sides of the system.
Is a remote control included in price?
Yes, the customer receives a 5-channel remote control in RTS or IO technology. When choosing Pergola 24V motor, there is only IO technology to choose from.
Are there more colours for LED lighting?
No, we only have one colour available - neutral, with a value of 4500 Kelvin.
Is it possible to adjust the LED lighting?
Yes, as standard a remote control is added to the set that can be used to regulate the light intensity. In addition it is possible if the entire control is in Somfy IO technology (then you have to order IO White LED Receiver). 
Is it possible to choose the side on which the motor will be mounted?
Yes, the motor can be mounted on the lengthwise beam on the left or on the right, depending on the customer's request.
Are there additional options in the form of electrical devices?
Yes, it is possible to order heaters.
Does the system include water drainage?
The system includes 2 lengthwise gutters. The point of water drainage should be made individually by making a drain hole in the bottom of the gutter. Optionally, 4 gutters along the perimeter with angle overflows are available for an additional charge.
Does the system include anchors or holes for mounting brackets?
Wall brackets are included in the set. However, anchors must be purchased on your own.
What is the minimum projection?
The minimum projection is 1,4 m.
Is an external load-bearing substructure required?
No, the perimeter frame ensures the transfer of the load from the roof and wind loads determined by the wind class according to EN13659.
Is it possible to choose any given projection?
No, it must be a multiple of 20 cm and be between 240 cm a 700 cm.
What is the permissible wind load?
It is 400 Pa, i.e. 40.8 kg / m2.
What is the height of the beam that makes up the perimeter frame?
The beam is 212 mm high.
How much free space above the frame should be taken into account during assembly?
The opening mechanism of the blades requires an additional 130 mm. 
Is the motor cable carried through the profile?
No, motor cable has to be carried out properly on your own. 
Do the blades in this system have a slope?
The blades on the motor side are mounted 20 mm higher than on the opposite side.
Can the roof be loaded with snow?
Yes, up to a maximum value of 50 kg/m² with even load distribution (without snowdrifts and accumulations of snow covers).
